The time has finally arrived for me to be at Camp Greystone! These first couple of days have been somewhat overwhelming in that there are so many new people to meet and so many new things to learn. But God is good! I am surrounded by people who love the Lord and I cannot wait to see how God is going to change me this summer. I am so excited for the campers to arrive on Monday and I can’t wait to see their creativity shine through when they are creating scrapbooks for all of their wonderful memories.
There will be some days that will be better than others. There will be times when I probably think I couldn’t be more tired or more sweatier. But I know that the summer will fly by and I know that I will have some amazing memories at the end of this. I will have to work on taking pictures (I haven’t taken one yet and it’s the second day!).
God has a great summer in store and I can’t wait to see the end result. May I learn to trust God in every situation and to see people as God sees them. This summer will make an impact in my life and I can’t wait to share more. Time for some much needed sleep now 🙂
